Getting a desired seat when traveling through Delta Airlines makes every passenger happy. One opts for seat selection because no one wants to get sandwiched between unknown passengers. Currently, Delta offers six major seating options to passengers. Each is distinct in terms of price and features. Delta One Seat is the most luxurious seating option and is apt for long international flights. Other options available are also good. Have a look at the services available and choose one that fits your requirements.

Basic Economy: It’s the cheapest seating option available and is preferred for short-distance flights only. Passengers cannot select seats, as they are assigned after check-in. If you want to select seats of your choice, you need to pay a Delta seat Fee for seat allocation. You can carry one personal item and one carry-on with you. A certain amount must be paid to carry checked baggage on domestic and international flights.

Main Cabin: This seat type allows you to choose your seat prior to the scheduled departure. Those who opt for a flight change need not pay any flight change fees. Miles are rewarded every time a passenger chooses to fly with the Main Cabin fare. A wide range of entertainment, beverage, snacking, and meal options are also available.

Delta Comfort+: Considered the most comfortable seating option amongst all Delta Fare Classes. You can access additional legroom and overhead bin space to keep your belongings. The flight crew also provides a pillow and cabin for maximum comfort. Passengers can carry one personal item and one carry-on for free but must pay for the checked baggage.

Delta One: To choose a comfortable seat while flying with Delta, click on the Delta One seat map. You will experience luxury starting from the airport, which means quick check-in, priority boarding, and expedited baggage. Seats are flat-bed and come with a sleeping and lumbar pillow along with an oversized duvet.

Premium Select: A leveraged seating experience with more legroom, recliner space, flexible feet and legrest. Due to the Sky-Priority service, you get to check-in and board the flight early. The assigned flight attendant will also serve you with a hot towel, a savory meal, and a beverage chosen by you. Full-fledged meals can also be ordered from the pre-order menu 24 hours before flight.

First Class: This class has 8-inch extra legroom and 5.4-inch recliner space. Every passenger is assigned a personalized in-flight attendant. They can be contacted for any assistance, whether it’s ordering meals or requesting complimentary earbuds. An 11-inch screen is also available for non-stop entertainment.
